I was fortunate enough to find Peter and Jakob to help with some home renovation and decorating work. Having initially guided them as to the work required, they provided a competitive quote and started when they said they would. They prepared all rooms and were immensely tidy throughout the job. The work took longer than envisaged but they helped coordinate other trades and had an attention to detail that was greatly appreciated. As additional jobs cropped up, as they do, they were more than accommodating to help me achieve the house improvement I was seeking. I really can't praise their work highly enough. They were courteous, professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, tidy and efficient. I have other work required on the house. I know who I will be engaging.

Absolutely first class workmanship and service and such nice people too. I first had John doing some plumbing work on my bathroom and then Peter did interior painting. Nothing is too much trouble and the amount of care and detail they put in to their work is unparalleled. It’s so rare that tradesmen will go over and above the call of duty but they did and I’m so impressed with their skill and workmanship. I can’t recommend Jakob and Sons more highly. Just hire them and rest assured that you’re in great hands.

The company undertook to install a understair toilet and a small, but demanding, maintenance task. Both were undertaken professionally with excellent workmanship, showed consideration to those living in the property during the works with good time keeping from beginning to end.

Jakob and Sons came in for just tiling of bathrooms and ended up doing whole new bathroom, renovation of WC, changing and installing new radiators and kitchen plumbing. Totally recommend Jakob and Sons as they are reasonably priced, trustworthy and lots of experience. Thanks Jakob and Sons

I could not have been happier with Jakob and Sons workmanship, drive to go the extra mile and solutions to unforeseen problems (items delivered prior to dispatch, unusual historic widening and a hidden stop tap). 

They were polite and more than happy to talk me through what the plan for the day was and gave plenty of warning on the few occasions when water needed turning off.

They finished the work within budget and forecasted timescale and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Jakob and Sons has just finished our bathroom refurb and we couldn't be more delighted with it! They have been amazing. A very high standard of workmanship, very professional, friendly and experienced. We were always kept well informed throughout the job, very tidy workers always cleaned up at the end of every day. Really helpful as well, they kindly discarded all the waste including the cardboard boxes etc. for us and even collected a second toliet for us from the suppliers after discovering the first one delivered was damaged when they opened the box. I don't normally leave reviews but thank you for all your hard work and high standard of work ethic! It will be a fight for the shower in our house from now on. If we get our kitchen done you will be my first point of contact!
